  7. The EtherDisk diskette provides you with the necessary software, utilities, 
  8. and documentation to use 3Com's EtherLink II family of adapters with various 
  9. network operating systems (NOSs).  The diskette also includes the diagnostic 
  10. program and additional files containing user information.  The adapter guide 
  11. comes packaged with the adapter and gives important information    on adapter 
  12. installation and use.  The adapter guide should be used in conjunction with 
  13. the EtherDisk diskette.

  16. NOTE:  Unless otherwise indicated, the term "EtherLink II adapter" refers to
  17.        the EtherLink II (3C503), the EtherLink II TP (3C503-TP), the
  18.        EtherLink II/16 (3C503-16), and the EtherLink II/16 TP (3C503-16-TP) 
  19.        adapters.  All of these adapters must be selected as an EtherLink II 
  20.        adapter in your setup program (for example Novell's WSGEN) during the 
  21.        installation procedure.

  24. Before you install the network drivers, follow the procedures in your adapter
  25. guide to:
  26.  
  27.       -  install your adapter
  28.       -  run the diagnostic program
  29.       -  connect to the network
  30.  
  31. To run the diagnostic program and to update the network drivers, use the Menu
  32. Program on the EtherDisk diskette.  To access the program, type MENU at the 
  33. prompt.  Refer to the adapter guide or the release note for the EtherDisk 
  34. diskette v2.0 for more information.
